RD411 Now Has Over 1000 Professional Resources. And They Are All Free!
Message from Nancy Collins, PhD, RD, LD/N
Fall is upon us and the chill is in the air – or at least that is what I am told. As a Floridian, I don’t have the opportunity to experience the fall weather so I am happy to be heading to Chicago for the American Dietetic Association’s Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE). RD411.com will be featured inside the Abbott Nutrition booth so please stop by and say hello. I always love to hear your ideas and suggestions and find out how you have been using the site. If you are not attending the meeting, please drop me a note at Nancy@RD411.com with your comments. I have been busy adding new content and new functionality like the newsletter archive. All of the past newsletters are now available on the site so if you want to go back and find something, just click here. I have two major expansions planned for the coming months so stay tuned because I think you’re going to find these new features very helpful and very unique!

Free CEU for RD411.com Users!
“No trans fats!” That’s the cry throughout New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle and now the entire state of California. A more obscure, albeit growing and significant argument is raised by food scientists and consumer groups alike--what is being used in place of the newly excommunicated trans fats, and is it any safer? Numedix.com is offering all RD411.com users a free one hour course entitled Interesterified Fats: Dangerous Replacement for Trans Fats. Just click here to download the article and instructions for obtaining your free CEU.
