RD411.com Has What You Are Looking For!

Message from Nancy Collins, PhD, RD, LD/N,
Founder and Executive Director

It is hard to believe that May is already upon us.  I have been very busy traveling so the time went by quickly. I had the opportunity to attend several state dietetic association meetings and wound care meetings as an invited speaker. I was lecturing on litigation issues and the nutritional interventions for wound healing – two of my very favorite topics. While at these meetings, I was thrilled to meet so many RD411.com users.  It is heartwarming to know that so many colleagues are finding RD411.com helpful. Thanks to all those of you who came up and introduced yourselves; the best thing about RD411 is meeting so many people who share my passion! I jotted down all your requests so keep watching for our monthly updates…meanwhile, we have a lot new this month so keep reading.

The Mission

Think of RD411.com as your virtual assistant! The less time you spend reinventing the wheel, the more time you’ll have for your patients and
clients – and yourself. You are welcome to download, modify, and distribute any materials you find on RD411.com for free!

RD411.com is a peer-to-peer network. You are welcome to contribute and share your best practices or any materials you have developed.  The more successful each individual dietitian is, the more successful the profession is as a whole.

Live Chat Event

RD411.com has a new chat room so we can discuss hot topics.  The first chat event was a lot of fun as we bounced around ideas on salaries and related topics. The next chat will focus on arginine and glutamine and be held on Friday, May 30th at 2:00 PM EDT. To join, please send a message with your name and email address to RD411Office@gmail.com.  There will be some experts there so plan to attend!

If you would like to suggest a topic for a future chat, lead a chat or even use the chat room for your own event, just let us know. Chats can be set up very easily and are a good way to respond to issues in a timely fashion.
